Since its inception in 2015, Shenae Whitehead has served as clinical director and licensed psychological associate at Heart to Heart Counseling and Wellness Center, PLLC, where she provides mental health services. Shenae Whitehead spearheads a comprehensive practice and conducts diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions for conditions such as PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, and personality disorders.

Her expertise in psychological testing includes assessments like the WISC-V, MMPI-2, and Vineland-3. Shenae Whitehead also works with Cumberland County Schools to offer psychological evaluations for K-12 students.

In her therapeutic work, Shenae Whitehead emphasizes evidence-based practices tailored to her client's needs. She offers individual, family, and couples therapy, utilizing modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). She also specializes in attachment-based therapies, including Theraplay, and performs risk and trauma assessments for youth.

Beyond her practice, Shenae Whitehead actively contributes to the community by facilitating support groups for parenting, co-parenting, and domestic violence. She also leads The Stacy Jones Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit she founded to assist foster children, low-income families, and young women pursuing education.
